Balay de la Rama

Are you planning to visit Legazpi City? Looking for a budget-friendly place to stay? With good facilities? With a lovely view? With very friendly staff? Can you really have it all? Fortunately, YES! Balay de la Rama is the place to stay! Like SM "they've got it all for you!".

Let us start the tour! I'm kinda tired when I arrived from the airport since it's really hot (oh well, it's summer in the Philippines. That's why! haha!) BUT wouldn't you love to sit and relax in this lovely receiving area while waiting for your room to be ready? The ambiance of the place is very relaxing. Unlike in other hotels where the aircon in the receiving area seems to be in "blower/fan mode", Balay de la Rama will offer you a better service (a lot better!).

After waiting, the room is ready for occupancy! Yehey! I can relax now! When I entered the room, I was surprised! The room is spacious and its set-up is simple yet elegant. Oh come on! I made the right decision in choosing this place! I love it to the point that I just want to stay in my room forever (LOL! I guess that's a little too exaggerated. haha!). The room has this big cabinet where you can place your things. And the aircon? Oh gosh! I love it when I'm freezing every morning! Haha!

Another thing I like in this room is the mirror placed at the side. I know "vain" people will love this. Right? Come on! We, Filipinos, love to face the mirror and take a "selfie" photo and upload it. Facebook? Instagram? Twitter? Or whatever social network it is.

I know most of the people who love to travel are more concern with the comfort room (Well, I am that type!). I am not "nag-iinarte" or whatsoever but I just want to have a comfortable stay in a place. So here is their comfort room. Scroll down, sweetie. ;)

So there, that's the room I occupied. BUT the tour is not yet done! You still haven't seen the balcony of the room where I stayed. The balcony may not be that big BUT I assure you that you'll love the view from there. Want to see it? Wait until the end of this blog. This is where I eat my dinner while reflecting on things. (Woooow! Reflecting! LOL!) There was even this night where I had a candlelight dinner (not because I'm a romantic type of person but because there was this brownout which only lasted for 5-10 minutes I guess). Not that bad! You get to have a romantic dinner and bonding with Mother Nature.

Finally, the highlight of my stay in this lovely place ->
the view from the balcony of my room
*drum roll* Tadaaaaa! Isn't it lovely? I actually requested for this room since I want to ponder. Whaaaat?! LOL! That moment when all you want to do is relax, think and reflect especially with this kind of view. It's simply...........PRICELESS and PERFECT!

That awesome feeling every morning while seeing this view made me thank the Lord for giving me another opportunity to see the beauty of his creation. Honestly, this trip taught me how to be independent, not to depend on others and the best realization? That I should not equate happiness with having someone there for me all the time because in the end, you alone will be the one to make your own happiness. Remember, happiness is a choice! Take it from the expert. HAHA! Just kidding! Seriously now, the best is yet to come so enjoy every single day! ;)

Again, Balay de la Rama is a great place to stay. Budget-friendly AND the people here are also really nice. You wouldn't feel alone (even though you're really travelling alone. LOL!). Very affordable rates! I LOVE IT! For more inquiries (rates, check-in, check-out, etc.), you may visit their facebook page. Rest assured that they will respond immediately. ->

Furthermore, they also offer different tours. If you don't have your own itinerary, they can give you one at a very affordable price. Believe me! Indeed, I can say that I am satisfied with their services.

Thank you, Balay de la Rama!!!
I promise to come back soon...really really soon! ;)
